What are the criteria for distinguishing between women and men? Unexpected Woman-Mask exercise is based on actual interviews which focuses on moments that go beyond the dichotomy frame that defines the gender into two. Combining the reenactment of the actual recordings of the interviews and theatrical forms with added imagination, this work experiments with the various strategies for women to have their own language. The Blue Beard Collectives is a creative group centering on the playwright-cum-director Jung-min Ahn. With the motif of a woman in the blue beard tale, the group explores their strong questions and curiosities toward the times through theatrical imagination.
