CLASS is a story about a middle-aged playwright and student in a play writing class at an art school. Instructor A and student B unexpectedly happen to have one-on-one classes. There is a strange sense of uneasiness between B, who shows both blind faith and hostility towards A. When the submitted play fails to pass every time, B brings his own unfinished story, instigating their sharp debate. Jinju is a writer who finds the voices hidden beneath our society, and has presented works that capture contemporary social issues such as multiculturalism, marriage, and women through all sorts of events, great and small. This work questions whether we can acknowledge each other in the midst of conflicts caused by the different individual standards such as age, gender and values.
