Thin Girls

DAC Artist Juyoung Park is a writer and director who listens closely to the stories of women overlooked by history. By exploring themes of limitation, longing, and a sense of inadequacy, she delves into the depths of the human experience from a uniquely female perspective.  
Thin Girls, adapted from the New Zealand writer Diana Clarke’s novel of the same title, tells the story of twin sisters, Rose and Lily, as they grapple with eating disorders. Through the two characters’ struggles with body issues, the play focuses on the themes of female desire, repulsion, and the power of female solidarity in overcoming adversity.
