First introduced at the Doosan Art Lab workshop in February 2014, A Pansori Short Story was subsequently developed into a full artwork. Sponsored by the Doosan Art Center Artist Incubating Program, Lee Jaram adapted for the stage Joo Yo-seop’s short stories Ugly Woman and Murder, and also acts as the main Pansori composer and art director. Park Ji-hye of the Yangson Project is the production’s dramaturge and director, and Lee Seung-hee and Kim So-jin star as Pansori singers.
